Job summary

Dover Corporation in California seeks an HR Business Partner to work closely with plant leadership on talent management for supervisors, managers and professionals. The role uses Workday and ADP to drive analytics, wage-and-hour compliance, and culture initiatives to optimize production workforce performance.

The HRBP will manage talent programs, recruitment, performance cycles, and employee relations, partnering with EHS and operations to ensure safety and lawful practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• PHR-CA or SPHR-CA preferred; SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP a strong plus.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience, with 2+ years supporting operations in CA manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CA and federal employment laws; Cal/OSHA compliance.
• Experience with Workday and ADP; proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to influence leadership and manage sensitive employee relations.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track site HR analytics and strategy using Power BI to address labor shortages and retention.
• Lead employee engagement surveys and action plans.
• Oversee recruitment for professional and management roles.
• Coordinate end-to-end Performance Review and Compensation cycles in Workday.
• Promote positive employee relations and maintain confidentiality.
• Manage California wage/hour compliance and workers' compensation with EHS.
• Support plant culture initiatives and safety programs.
