Job summary

Novolex is seeking an Human Resources Manager for a fast-paced manufacturing facility in the United States. You will partner with leaders to drive talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll and HRIS, and employee engagement across the site.

You will build leadership capacity, implement learning programs, manage performance and succession, and ensure compliance with laws and internal policies. This role emphasizes data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with HR focus preferred.
• 3–5 years HR experience in manufacturing.
• Proven HR partner to leaders.
• Ability to use HR data and analytics to diagnose trends and link to performance outcomes.
• Strong change and project management skills.
• Experience driving culture and engagement strategies.
• Talent management experience; assess gaps and strengthen bench.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition from needs assessment to onboarding.
• Own and improve workforce hiring process.
• Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies for short and long term.
• Own onboarding and orientation programs.
• Facilitate new leader assimilations.
• Build leadership pipeline and training platforms.
• Drive talent management including assessment, coaching and mentoring.
• Develop local succession plans.
• Improve employee engagement and diversity & inclusion.
• Provide counsel to managers and employees on HR initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.
• Collaborate to improve productivity, quality, safety and retention.
• Analyze data and drive improvements.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance; conduct investigations.
• Manage payroll and HRIS responsibilities.
• Assist with network-wide projects.
