Job summary

Alene Candles LLC & Midwest in Ohio is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our HR team and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive HR initiatives, counsel leadership, and ensure compliant, effective people practices across the organization.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and several years in HR, with prior manufacturing experience and team leadership. You will collaborate with managers, safeguard payroll accuracy, oversee onboarding, training, and employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5–7 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Experience in manufacturing is required.
• 2 years experience leading an HR team.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of key HR initiatives.
• Develop, mentor and monitor HR team members. Identify opportunities for growth and development and provide a clear plan in bridging those gaps
• Partner closely with managers and operational leaders to address workforce challenges, resolve employee relations issues, and support effective decision-making
• Audit payroll documents, ensuring accuracy of payroll entries
• Oversee onboarding, training and orientation process. HR Manager is responsible for ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
