Job summary

Gerdau North America in Wilton, IA is seeking an experienced Human Resources leader to oversee employee relations, recruiting, compensation, training, performance management, and safety for the Wilton Mill and nearby sites. You will partner with plant leadership to align people strategies with business goals and ensure regulatory compliance.

This onsite role requires 7+ years HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong consulting, communication, and conflict management skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years HR experience.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing setting preferred.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage HR processes across employee relations, recruiting, wage and salary administration, training and development, career and succession, performance management, safety, benefits, and employee services.
• Coordinate employee communications to promote understanding of programs, policies, and objectives.
• Coordinate performance reviews and performance improvement processes for all employees.
