Job summary

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream seeks an HR Manager for the Laurel manufacturing site to balance strategic and tactical HR leadership on the factory floor. You will report to the HR Director and Factory Manager, guiding HR support across the Laurel site and coordinating with headquarters in Walnut Creek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional HR certification preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of general HR experience.
• Ability to design and execute HR programs for a factory.
• Strong data-driven decision making and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead Factory HR team to deliver HR Operations programs related to compliance, engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide HR guidance to Factory Manager, department managers, and employees.
• Develop HR solutions that promote organizational and employee effectiveness.
• Support talent management initiatives including frontline supervisor programs.
• Mediate and resolve employee relations issues and conduct investigations.
• Develop policies and programs to balance regulatory compliance with business needs.
• Transform factory goals into HR processes and projects with key partners.
• Lead change initiatives to improve factory performance and employee experience.
• Maintain knowledge of wage/hour laws and ensure regulatory compliance.
