Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years HR experience preferred, manufacturing/industrial background a plus.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and payroll support.
• Experience with unionized environments and CBAs is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees, supervisors, and managers regarding HR policies and practices.
• Advise leadership on disciplinary actions and performance management per CBA.
• Investigate employee relations matters and document findings with recommended resolutions.
• Monitor attendance, performance trends, and workforce metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes.
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a positive experience.
• Support payroll processing with data review and accuracy checks.
• Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
• Collaborate with HR leadership on workforce planning and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
