Job summary

Kubota Manufacturing of America Corp in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will engage with employees on the shop floor, foster a positive culture, and partner with leadership on workforce initiatives.

Responsibilities include HR operations, benefits inquiries, onboarding, safety programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to a collaborative, people-first workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking ability.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily HR support across all functional areas while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Promote employee engagement through shop floor presence and open communication.
• Administer and communicate company policies, procedures, and programs clearly and consistently.
• Support management in progressive disciplinary actions.
• Address employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, schedules, uniforms, and other HR topics.
• Monitor and reconcile authorized versus actual headcount to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate internal job postings and candidate evaluations.
• Maintain confidential personnel, medical, and I-9 records.
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Manage unemployment claims, including timely submissions and representation during hearings and appeals.
• Process employee separations, including documentation and exit interviews.
• Conduct and document internal investigations in a fair and consistent manner.
• Ensure compliance with I-9 reverification processes.
• Serve as a liaison between employees and management to support effective communication.
• Participate in and promote company safety initiatives and programs.
• Assist with employee recognition and appreciation events.
• Support timekeeping and attendance processes to ensure accurate payroll.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
