Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for an onsite role in Schaumburg, IL. The position offers a salary of $80,000-$90,000 and requires Paylocity experience along with HRIS proficiency.

Reporting to the plant GM, you will manage employee relations, administer HR programs, lead recruitment, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. A Bachelor’s in HR or related field and 3+ years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HRIS (Paylocity) and reporting for C-level stakeholders.
• Proven track record in recruiting, including screening, interviewing, and employee relations.
• Excellent knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee employee relations, advising management on complex HR issues and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain and optimize HRIS for efficient data management and reporting.
• Lead recruitment from posting to screening and selection, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulations.
• Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
• Administer employee benefits programs and ensure legal compliance.
• Participate in performance evaluation processes and manage improvement plans.
• Collaborate with management to identify HR needs and implement solutions.
