Job summary

BOS Innovations Inc. is seeking an on-site Human Resources Generalist in Lexington, KY to support U.S. employment compliance, employee relations, onboarding, health & safety, payroll, and internal communications.

You will partner with the Director of HR and Canadian HR to align practices across locations while guiding the Office Coordinator and payroll processes. The role focuses on compliance, employee engagement, onboarding, and health & safety, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of HR experience in manufacturing or technical environments.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, BA, or related field.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and Kentucky requirements.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Support HR compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and advise on interpretation and risk.
• Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, employee handbook, and onboarding documentation.
• Manage Health & Safety programs and OSHA alignment; coordinate inspections and safety meetings.
• Provide guidance to managers on people matters, documentation, and policy interpretation.
• Oversee onboarding, payroll setup, benefits enrollment, HRIS updates, and employee documentation.
