Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking an HR Specialist to optimize HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will handle employee relations, investigations, payroll coordination, onboarding, and data reporting to support retention, safety culture, and engagement.

The role requires 1–3 years HR experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Workday and UKG. Located in North Carolina, the position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HR experience.
• Strong administrative, reporting, and data management skills.
• Experience handling sensitive information.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Organizational skills with multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Workday, and UKG.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or operations.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive associate relations and resolve concerns.
• Partner with EHS and Operations to foster safety culture.
• Foster inclusive, high-performance culture rooted in collaboration.
• Support investigations into employee concerns and policy violations.
• Assist Leaves & Accommodations with FMLA/ADA cases.
• Serve as Timekeeper; coordinate weekly payroll with Payroll team.
• Support onboarding, records, status changes, and offboarding.
• Prepare reports on turnover, absenteeism, staffing, and engagement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes.
• Develop SOPs and simple process documentation.
• Use Workday and UKG for HR transactions and audits.
• Assist in organizing company functions and community events.
