Fortune Personnel Consultants is recruiting an HR Director for a large manufacturing organization in Indiana. The role leads a team of HR generalists and drives workforce strategy, planning and key initiatives to align with production schedules.

The ideal candidate will have extensive HR leadership experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing, with a track record of building workforce plans, improving retention and partnering with senior leaders on organizational efficiency.

Qualificações

• Must have HR leadership at a Manager Level experience in automotive or comparable high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team of HR and broad functional knowledge across employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, payroll and compliance.
• Experience developing and implementing HR strategies with measurable improvements in retention, staffing, leadership capability or organizational performance.
• Experience translating business and production plans into workforce requirements, budgets and hiring priorities.
• Record of building succession plans and leadership development programs.
• Experience advising senior operating leaders on organizational structure & workforce initiatives.
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried employees across multiple shifts.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site in Indiana.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute an HR strategy tied to business plans, production requirements and workforce changes.
• Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, establishing responsibilities, priorities and performance expectations.
• Build workforce plans addressing staffing levels, critical skills, labor availability and future operating needs.
• Lead retention initiatives based on turnover patterns, employee feedback and department/shift differences.
• Partner with senior leaders on organizational efficiency toward productivity.
• Assess compensation, benefits and employee programs and coordinate with brokers on renewals and changes.
• Establish consistent HR policies and management practices with daily execution by the HR team.
• Measure results of strategic initiatives and adjust plans.
• Work with Corporate Legal Counsel on critical HR matters.
