Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the Human Resources function in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role covers recruiting, onboarding, employee records, timekeeping, benefits, and HR compliance.

The ideal candidate will be organized, approachable, and comfortable supporting both office staff and hourly production workers, with manufacturing or high-volume experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s in HR/Business preferred.
• 1–3 years HR or administrative experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, food production, warehouse, or high-volume environment experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with HRIS or timekeeping systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidential employee files and HR records.
• Process changes, new-hire paperwork, terminations, transfers, and status updates.
• Maintain HR information in HRIS and other HR systems.
• Answer routine questions on policies, benefits, payroll, and timekeeping.
• Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
• Coordinate recruiting and onboarding for hourly roles.
