Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Knoxville, IA is seeking a Group Leader to supervise a manufacturing team responsible for moving materials through designated areas and upholding safety, quality, productivity and efficiency standards.

You will train employees on PPE usage and proper safety practices, read schematics and blueprints, and ensure weld, paint and assembly standards are met while coordinating production schedules and reporting to the Area Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend documents.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead people in movement of materials and enforce safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Instruct employees in PPE usage and safe work practices.
• Train staff on weld, paint, and assembly quality standards.
• Communicate production schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
• Monitor area performance and report to the Area Manager.
• Foster open communication and maintain positive team relationships.
