Job summary
Paycom - ATS is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a welding and fabrication facility focused on welded exhaust systems for OEM customers. You will oversee production, quality, maintenance, safety, and shipping to meet customer requirements and business goals.
The role requires strong leadership, Lean expertise, and a track record of improving safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a manufacturing environment. Onsite with a 4/10 schedule options.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
- Minimum 3 years of plant management or senior operations management experience.
- Experience in welding, metal fabrication, automotive, Tier 1, or OEM manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting OEM customers and automotive quality systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leaders, and production personnel.
- Direct daily production activities across welding, fabrication, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping.
- Monitor performance, ensure on-time delivery, and drive corrective actions when targets are missed.
- Establish standard work, visual controls, and performance metrics.
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to meet customer requirements.
