Job summary

Packaging-Corporation-of-America is seeking a day-to-day operations associate to support a manufacturing line. You will work as part of a team on the plant floor to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize waste while maintaining a safe work environment.

The role requires availability for first or second shift, overtime, and weekends as needed, with strong communication and teamwork to coordinate with production personnel on fast-paced tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience in packaging/manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
• Assist all jobs on the plant floor and maintain safety procedures.
• Follow 5S standards for shop and equipment.
• May stack parts up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow lock-out tag-out procedures.
