Job summary

Menasha Corporation's Yukon, PA plant is seeking General Labor associates to learn machine operation, packing, palletizing and quality checks. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and accurate data handling.

Shifts include 2nd and 3rd with occasional 1st shift; pay starts at $21.68/hr rising to $22.68/hr after 60 days. Overtime and weekend work are required as needed. Training provided to move into operator roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist machine operations including setup, packing, palletizing, bundling, stacking, and sorting.
• Support machine centers to maintain efficient production and quality checks.
• Review production work orders, input data, and follow palletizing instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and work area.
• Adhere to safety policies and report issues to supervisors.

Our Yukon, PA plant is looking for individuals to work in a general labor capacity who are interested in learning new skills and training to move into roles such as machine helpers and operators.Job Duties• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures• Perform job functions in an accurate and efficient manner, such as:Machine operations including: machine set up, packing, palletizing, bundling, stacking, sorting, etc.• Assist operators in efficient operation of the machine centers• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to customer standards• Understand production work orders, load tags, time sheets and all other relevant documents, and palletizing instructions• Understand computer system and input of data• Perform quality checks on finished corrugated products and identify defects• Maintain production efficiencies and standards• Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisorsEssential to this PositionManufacturing General Labor pay starts at $21.68 and increases to $22.68 after 60 days.Opportunities: Able to sign for posted jobs after 60 days, which will provide higher wages than general labor.Shifts: Most openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift. Some training may occur on 1st shift.
