Job summary

The Judge Group in Columbus, NE is seeking a Financial Analyst (Manufacturing) to support corporate accounting, financial reporting and compliance while partnering with multiple manufacturing facilities to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, month-end close, cost accounting, budgeting, variance analysis, and process improvements; also supporting AP/AR and inventory accounting to ensure robust controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing operations.
• ERP experience required; Plex preferred.
• CPA and public accounting experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Analyze plant financial performance, costs, and variances.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies.
• Support AP/AR functions and inventory-related accounting.
