Job summary

The Finance Controller for The Judge Group will oversee all finance and accounting activities for a multi-plant manufacturing operation in the United States, partnering with executive leadership and operations teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in manufacturing finance and accounting.
• 4+ years as a Controller in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Multi-plant manufacturing experience required.
• Strong IFRS reporting and compliance expertise.
• Advanced manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, working capital, and controls.
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar) and Oracle FCCS reporting/consolidation systems.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, financial statements, management reporting, and financial consolidations.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, outlooks, CAPEX planning, and financial performance reporting.
• Manage treasury, cash flow forecasting, working capital initiatives, banking relationships, and inventory optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, audits, statutory reporting, tax requirements, and governance standards.
• Lead manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, inventory valuation, COGS analysis, cost rolls, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Partner with plant leadership and operations teams to improve profitability, productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Analyse customer, product, and programme profitability; support pricing reviews, business cases, and investment decisions.
• Lead and develop finance teams while driving finance transformation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
