Job summary

International Paper seeks a Financial Analyst II in Olympia, WA to provide accounting support and finance analytics for the facility. You will work under the Controller on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to help management maximize financial results.

The role involves improving processes, ensuring internal controls, and contributing to region-wide projects. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in finance/accounting is required, with manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, business or related field required; CPA or CMA a plus.
• 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience; manufacturing facility experience preferred.
• Corrugated, printing, packaging and/or related finance experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and analytical support for the Olympia location and help maximize financial return for the facility.
• Assist Controller with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and reports.
• Develop and refine processes to improve accounting efficiency and documentation.
