Job summary

Eaton’s Aerospace group is seeking a Finance Manager for the Jackson, MI facility. You will lead the plant finance team, drive planning and reporting, and partner with operations to improve profitability and control costs. Relocation assistance is available and travel is minimal.

You will manage capital investments, cost accounting, forecasting, and internal controls in a manufacturing setting, ensuring FAR and TINA compliance for government contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting/finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting/finance experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• U.S. person under ITAR required for access to ITAR-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant finance activities and team; partner with operations leadership.
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and business reviews.
• Maintain cost accounting, inventory valuation, and fixed asset processes.
• Manage capital expenditure requests and depreciation controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, SOX, and internal controls.
• Provide government contract financial support including FAR and TINA compliance.
• Develop financial models and tools to enhance decision making.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement across the facility.
