Job summary

Kreate Melds seeks a Senior Controller to lead financial operations for its Asheville, NC extrusion facility. You will own financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and inventory controls while partnering with Plant Manager and operations leaders to drive profitability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial plant environment is a must.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to track performance and profitability.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance; coordinate with external auditors.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Drive profitability analysis and cost reduction opportunities with operations.
• Support capital investment analysis and long-term financial planning.
