Harley-Davidson Motor Company in York, PA is seeking a Finance Lead - Manufacturing to join the York Operations finance team. The role leads analytical support, financial management, and decision support for manufacturing operations, partnering with operating teams to deliver monthly performance reports and financial analyses.

You will oversee standard costing, month-end close, cost of sales, and audits, while coaching others and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles including balance sheet and GL.
• Excellent interpersonal skills communicating with all management levels.
• Self-motivated with a drive for process improvements.
• Attention to detail with broad analytical perspective.
• Excellent organizational skills; balance multiple tasks under time constraints.
• SAP experience and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis with focus on understanding plant operations.
• Lead standard costing activities for the plant by managing routing updates, burden rate calculations and earned hours estimates.
• Assume leadership responsibility as necessary, including advocating for new ideas.
• Coach others, plan and assign projects, review progress and evaluate results.
• Review, analyze and evaluate financial data for accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare and communicate key performance metrics for operations, including labor, production volume and inventory reporting.
• Oversee month end close process, including journal entries and expense analysis.
• Support internal and external audit requests and documentation.
• Participate in special projects, ad-hoc research and data analysis as needed.
