Job summary

Lindsay Corporation, a global irrigation and infrastructure equipment leader, seeks a Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Operations in Lindsay, NE. The role partners with plant leadership to drive cost control, standard costing, and margin improvements while owning portions of the close and financial reporting.

You will mentor junior staff, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain and Corporate Finance to deliver actionable insights and maintain GAAP compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and full month-end close experience.
• Ability to work independently and own results in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with non-finance partners.

Responsibilities

• Own significant portions of the monthly, quarterly and year-end close with journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain product costs within a standard cost environment and validate BOMs and routings.
• Partner with plant leadership to develop budgets, forecasts and S&OP inputs; analyze variances.
• Support internal and external audits and strengthen SOX/compliance.
• Lead process improvements and mentor junior staff; support ERP implementations.
