Job summary

Lindsay Corporation in Nebraska seeks a Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Operations to join the finance team at the Lindsay, Nebraska facility. The role partners with plant leadership to own the month-end close, support standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost control initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while developing the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and full month-end close cycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own significant portions of the monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
• Prepare and review recurring allocations and reporting across business units.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operations, spend and KPI reporting for plant leadership.
• Support fixed asset and capital project accounting.
• Partner with plant leadership to build budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and improve KPIs for operational and financial performance.
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls.
