Kaba Ilco, part of dormakaba, is seeking an Assistant Controller to support financial management and accounting operations at the Rocky Mount manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, internal controls, and close processes to ensure timely and compliant results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, and product costing.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of all governmental reports.
• Maintain accuracy of balance sheet accounts with monthly/quarterly reconciliations.
• Assist in AR/AP functions; backup to Credit Supervisor.
• Set up and supervise reporting system for P&L accuracy each month.
• Assist monthly closing by verifying data accuracy for timely close.
• Support budgeting and forecasting; help develop forecasts.
• Determine cost center allocations and product costing.
• Assist with year-end physical inventory; ensure ending balances.
• Oversee OneStream activities and related processes.
• Backup to Industrial Controller, Cost Accounting Manager, and Payroll.
