Job summary

JK Concepts is seeking a strategic, detail-driven Controller to lead our financial operations in Colorado and elevate the organization through improved processes, cost visibility, and proactive financial leadership.

This hands-on role is for a financial professional who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and is ready to own and refine the systems that drive profitability, inventory control, and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s accounting and finance function.
• Develop accounting team and promote accountability.
• Provide executive leadership with actionable financial insights.
• Produce monthly and annual financial statements including a monthly WIP entry with costs in excess and billings in excess balance sheet accounts.
• Create, refine, and document financial and operational processes that improve accuracy, transparency, and efficiency.
• Strengthen internal controls, inventory accounting, and ERP data integrity.
• Develop and enhance cost accounting systems, job costing models, and margin analysis to support profitable growth.
• Drive organizational change by leading process improvements, standardization, and cross‑department collaboration.
• Participate in financial forecasting and budgeting.
