Job summary

Manus seeks a senior Manufacturing Accountant to record, analyze, and report financial activities, with a focus on production costs, inventory, and performance. You will own CIP and fixed asset tracking, support month-end close, and interact with engineering to maintain asset inventories.

The role emphasizes internal control, annual tax filings, and opportunities to advance automation in accounting workflows. Strong Excel and SAP ByDesign skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in U.S. GAAP accounting.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Asset accounting including AUC.
• Experience using AI tools (LLMs) in finance contexts.

Responsibilities

• Apply a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP across fixed assets, inventory, accruals, lease accounting, and investments.
• Collect and monitor financial data, prepare internal statements (balance sheets and income statements), and forecast cash, costs, and revenues.
• Own CIP and Fixed Asset Tracking, record assets, track disposals, manage leases and related liabilities.
• Analyze financial trends and prepare annual financial statements with notes.
• Manage month-end close activities and intercompany eliminations.
• Develop and present recommendations to improve accounting practices and compliance.
• Monitor expenses, reconcile ledgers, maintain GL accounts and cost centers.
• Prepare external audit work papers and assess internal controls and risks.
• Contribute to annual tax filings, registrations, fees, and dues.
• Provide monthly purchase card support to Accounts Payable.
• Advance AI/automation adoption to streamline accounting and asset tracking.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
