Job summary

Diversified Recruitment Services, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial operations in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the Plant Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and provide analysis to drive operational performance.

You will assist with GL accounting, month-end close, forecasts and budgets, and cost accounting activities including BOM reviews and inventory analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis or accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Experience with manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and standard costing preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analyzing, summarizing, and presenting financial information.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP and HFM experience are a plus.
• Payroll processing experience preferred; ADP experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Plant Controller with daily financial activities including GL accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Support month-end closing activities with journal entries, analysis, and cost allocations.
• Assist with monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial performance and communicate findings to plant management.
• Reconcile inter-company transactions and resolve discrepancies with accounting teams and trading partners.
• Perform cost accounting activities including BOM reviews, cost roll-ups, and inventory analysis.
• Support annual standard cost setting for materials, labor, burden, and overhead.
• Monitor SOX controls and support internal/external audits.
• Support payroll processing and reconciliation; review vendor invoices against POs; collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes.
