Job summary

The Operations Controller at Corning Incorporated will serve as the finance partner for VP, Manufacturing across the Solar segment ($3B revenue, 4k employees) and lead financial strategy, cost performance and operating efficiencies.

Responsibilities include partnering with manufacturing and finance leaders, driving transparent cost metrics, FP&A, and SAP optimization, while coaching teams and advancing business finance programs to support Corning's ambitious growth and reliability goals.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of relevant financial leadership experience.
• BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA or equivalent desired.
• Strong analytical, financial and mathematical skills; excellent communication.
• Experience leading finance operations and forecasting processes.
• Ability to advise senior management and manage ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP Manufacturing and lead finance for the segment.
• Drive cost performance and operating efficiencies across sites.
• Implement transparent cost metrics and analysis for business insight.
• Link finance with operations; strengthen forecast processes; SAP optimization.
• Lead process improvements and act as a trusted partner to business teams.
