Job summary

Newmar Corporation is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations in Nappanee, IN. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and development of the accounting team within a manufacturing environment.

The position covers general ledger, cost accounting, audits, and collaboration with FP&A and operations to improve business performance. A CPA/CMA is preferred and ERP experience is required.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Progressive accounting leadership experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading financial close and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and provide timely financial statements.
• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, payroll, intercompany activity and reconciliations.
• Manage SOX compliance, internal controls, and audits coordination.
• Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing margin analysis.
• Partner with FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and finance on budgeting and forecasting.
