Job summary

Siemens Mobility seeks a Financial Analyst to support Grand Prairie operations in Texas. The role reports to the Plant Controller and assists in digitalizing plant reporting, analysis, and planning. Initial training occurs in Grand Prairie, with long-term work located in North Fort Worth, TX.

The hybrid position allows 2–3 days remote work weekly. responsibilities include cost/accounting tasks, inventory management, and CAPEX control to drive plant financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ experience in cost and variance analysis and inventory controls.
• In-depth understanding of Cost Accounting and Bill of Material setup.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert analysis on plant financials to improve results.
• Drives implementation of digital solutions for plant.
• Performs inventory management and cycle count processes.
• Provides financial reporting and variance analysis to local and HQ management teams.
• Handles ad hoc reporting for Controller, Plant Manager, CIP and other local management teams.
• Advises cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Supports forecasting, budgeting and CAPEX controlling.
• Supports month-end reporting including PUMA/Productivity, P&L, Balance Sheet, CAPEX, Inventory, Reserves, Warranty, and Journal Entries.
• Performs costing for new products, BOM revisions, and product management quotes.
