Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Dover, DE is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Manufacturing to lead financial planning and reporting for the plant unit. Under Plant Controller supervision, you will drive AOP development, cost standards, and forecast accuracy, ensuring strong internal controls and data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, at least 2 years of related experience, and proficiency with SAP/Hyperion, Excel, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar degree is required.
• 2+ years of related experience is required.
• Strong understanding of General Accounting and Cost Accounting principles.
• High integrity and strong controls environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ERP and financial systems (SAP, Hyperion) background preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to handle complex spreadsheets.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.
• Teamwork and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) including cost standards and schedules.
• Lead weekly and monthly reporting of actual and forecasted costs for unit and plant management.
• Analyze variances to target for direct expenses and report KPI breakdowns to management.
• Identify and initiate improvements in financial planning and reporting systems.
• Identify savings from Continuous Improvement and Production teams and ensure accuracy of unit values.
• Lead and assist in month-end close processes.
• Perform various financial analysis and scenario studies.
• Ensure completion of month-end close requirements and reporting including SAP and FAC review.
• Provide oversight of BOM accuracy and strengthen internal controls.
• Contribute to plant leadership with training and insights on financial information.
