Job summary

Kraft Heinz seeks a Plant Controller at the Woodstock Manufacturing Plant to lead budgeting, monthly close, reporting and financial analysis for the plant. This role requires strong knowledge of SAP, costing, and manufacturing finance.

You will drive cost reduction, manage a financial team, support capital projects, and ensure GAAP/SOX compliance. A BS in Business or Accounting/Finance and 6+ years of experience are required, with CPA/CMA/CGA/MBA considered assets.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Business or Accounting/Finance.
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing operations, product costing, and systems.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Finance or Accounting Management.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Orientation towards details and result driven; proactive and self-starter.
• Extensive practical systems knowledge (SAP/Other Costing Systems, advanced Excel).
• Demonstrated Project and Change Management abilities.
• Professional accounting designation CPA, CMA, CGA and/or MBA in Accounting/Finance would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, financial analysis and monthly close for the Woodstock plant.
• Present financial results and risks to key stakeholders.
• Manage and reconcile plant balance sheet accounts.
• Lead plant finance team and support capital projects and asset management.
• Provide cost forecasting and analysis, and drive cost reductions and efficiencies.
• Oversee internal/external audits and maintain financial controls.

Job Description

Kraft Heinz seeks a Plant Controller to lead management, reporting and planning of the plant’s financial and accounting activities at the Woodstock Manufacturing Plant. Responsibilities include budgeting, financial analysis, managing monthly close process, financial reporting, ensuring integrity of financial records, safeguarding assets, and maintaining a strong internal control environment in compliance with Kraft Heinz policies, GAAP, and Sarbanes‑Oxley. This position reports to the Associate Director of Manufacturing Finance and indirectly to the Plant Manager.

Plant Controller at a Glance

• This role will report and present the manufacturing operation’s financial results, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.


• Manage month‑end close process within SAP.


• Reconcile Plant Balance Sheet accounts.


• Manage & maintain plant financial team‑site.


• Provide cost forecasting and analysis, productivity pipeline accuracy and analysis.


• Provide thought leadership and insight on achievement of plant key performance metrics with a strong focus on cost reduction and improved operating efficiencies.


• Conduct self‑assessment audits and manage all internal/external audits.


• Build and maintain financial standards (financial BOMs).


• Identify and initiate process improvements.


• Lead corporate initiatives within the plant. Support Business Unit Finance as required with respect to projects including capital appropriations, new product development, and plant utilization/capacity/asset management issues.


• Provide financial support and tools to support the KHMS teams.


• Manage and develop direct reports.

Compensation

New Hire Base Salary Range: $104,200.00 – $130,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance‑based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
