Job summary

BorgWarner Arden campus seeks a Financial Analyst II to contribute to cost accounting, proposals, general accounting, and ad hoc reporting. Located in Arden, NC, the role supports fixed assets, month-end close, tax reconciliations, and forecasting within a cutting-edge automotive components facility.

You will work with the finance team to analyze costs, participate in new programs, and help drive process improvements while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent discipline preferred.
• SAP and OneStream software applications knowledge highly preferred.
• 3-5 years related work experience in Accounting, preferably in a Manufacturing Setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to process significant amounts of data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
• Attendance on the job is essential and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports fixed asset and general cost accounting activities for the facility.
• Handles various month end responsibilities such as account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Will support IRS tax reconciliations, and annual tax schedules.
• Assists in completing the monthly forecast and annual long range planning processes.
• Supports acquisition of new customer programs through business case analysis and quoting processes.
• Performs other routine duties and ad hoc reports with analysis as directed by the Finance Manager.
• Embraces continuous improvement and contributes to system/process enhancements.
