Job summary

BorgWarner is building a new state-of-the-art facility in Hendersonville to produce data center power generation systems. The Finance Supervisor will partner with the Hendersonville leadership team, overseeing plant controlling, cost accounting, forecasting, and financial decision support.

The role requires 6+ years in finance/accounting, SAP experience, and strong cost accounting and reporting skills. Collaboration across functions and adherence to internal controls are essential in this

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent discipline; MBA preferred.
• CPA or CMA a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in finance/accounting with increasing responsibility.
• SAP is required; OneStream/HFM experience preferred.
• Strong cost accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, forecasting, and analytics.
• Ability to operate strategically and hands-on in a plant finance environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to utilize digital, automation and AI-enabled tools preferred.
• Strong communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Hendersonville plant Controlling function, month-end close, forecasting, and inventory finance.
• Maintain records in accordance with GAAP, SOX, and BorgWarner guidelines.
• Provide early warning on trends affecting plant performance with practical solutions.
• Establish internal control structure and reconciliations for financial reporting.
• Coordinate monthly forecasts, budgeting, and long-range planning with leadership.
• Deliver daily/weekly/monthly reporting for operations and leadership.
