Job summary

Performix seeks a Plant Cost & Financial Analyst to assist the Plant Controller with manufacturing finance reporting. You will handle recurring reports on WIP, inventory, material usage variance, PPV, and plant P&L, translating data into clear cost-driver explanations for leadership.

Role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, strong Excel skills, and ERP data experience, with potential Oracle ERP and Power BI usage. 3-month term with extension, on-site in Iowa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Desirable cost accounting, manufacturing finance or plant finance experience.
• Understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, WIP, PPV and usage variances.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling) and experience with ERP data.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to reconcile data across multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Support Plant Controller with timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Own weekly and intra-week reports: WIP, inventory transactions, material usage variance, PPV and plant P&L.
• Prepare Analysis of Change (AOC) explaining period-over-period movements.
• Turn transactional data into clear explanations of cost drivers and flag anomalies.
