Job summary

Danone USA is seeking a Finance Analyst at our Dallas beverage manufacturing plant. You will partner with Operations and Supply Chain to deliver insightful financial analysis, manage journal entries, cost accounting, and month-end close, and drive cost control improvements.

Key tasks include budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, plus developing Power BI dashboards to visualize KPIs. A strong accounting background and ERP experience (SAP and Coupa preferred) are essential for success in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, debits/credits, accruals, payroll accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience analyzing Income Statements, Balance Sheets, cost centers, variances, labor costs, and manufacturing performance metrics.
• Experience with inventory accounting, fixed assets, standard costing, and manufacturing financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query.
• Power BI dashboard development and data visualization experience preferred.
• ERP experience; SAP and Coupa strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries following policy and controls.
• Maintain GL concepts including debits/credits, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Analyze plant cost centers and manufacturing variances to meet targets.
• Support payroll accounting and labor cost analysis.
• Develop financial analyses, forecasts, and business cases for leadership.
• Create and manage purchase orders through Coupa and support procurement finance.
• Develop Power BI dashboards for key KPIs and reporting.
• Support inventory accuracy and periodic material consumption analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and standardization.
