Job summary

APSI Construction Management in Atlanta, GA seeks a Construction Manager for a brownfield manufacturing facility project. You will advise the Client’s Project Management team on schedule, cost, and risk, and supervise on-site activities for a 6-week scope with potential extension.

Requirements include a Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, 8+ years in construction management, excellent writing and communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6,

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
• 8+ years in construction management.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier and ProCore.

Responsibilities

• On-site advisor to Client’s Project Management team.
• Attend meetings and review Design-Builder’s reports to track milestones and flag deviations.
• Monitor actual costs and spending against the budget and identify variances.
• Recommend corrective actions to bring construction back in line with plan and budget.
• Provide a Weekly Site Progress Report detailing deviations, root causes, and actions.
• Provide Weekly Risk Register Updates with mitigations and deadlines.
