Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Manufacturing Facilities Technician for Marlborough, MA. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, and related systems in a modern manufacturing lab setting.

You will document work in CMMS, respond to alarms, and help keep equipment running smoothly on first shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM). A high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of facilities or maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 5 years of experience as a facilities or maintenance technician in manufacturing or lab settings.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC-R, plumbing, pipefitting, boilers, wastewater systems, pumps, controls, or water purification systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on systems such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, compressors, and more.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and fix issues.
• Maintain accurate records in the maintenance CMMS system.
• Respond promptly to equipment alarms and emergencies to keep operations running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on systems like electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, compressors, and more.
  
• Conduct routine inspections to spot and fix any issues.
  
• Keep track of your work in our maintenance system (CMMS).
  
• Respond quickly to equipment alarms and emergencies to keep things running smoothly.

Requirements:

• Have a high school diploma or GED.
  
• Bring at least 5 years’ experience as a facilities ormaintenance technician (in manufacturing or lab settings).
  
• Know your way around at least two of the following: electrical, HVAC-R, plumbing, pipefitting, boilers, wastewater systems, pumps, controls, or water purification systems.
  
• (Bonus points if you know BMS/Metasys systems or have used CMMS like Infor EAM!)
  
• Are comfortable completing pre-employment checks (background, drug screen, etc.).
