Job summary

Sterling St James LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead all facility and equipment maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting. You will manage the maintenance team and ensure production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.

You will drive preventive/predictive maintenance programs, manage budgets, and coordinate with engineering and operations to support continuous improvement while maintaining OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Five+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and staff.
• Plan preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain production machinery and facility systems.
• Reduce downtime through root-cause analysis and action.
• Develop maintenance schedules aligned with production needs.
• Manage CMMS, work orders, records, and spare-parts inventory.
• Track maintenance KPIs like downtime and reliability.
• Coordinate equipment installations and capital projects.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and operations leadership.
• Provide hands-on technical support for complex issues.
