Job summary

Gibraltar Industries is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor for its North Baltimore, Ohio facility. You will lead the maintenance team, oversee electrical, HVAC, and production equipment, drive preventive maintenance programs, and manage capital projects to maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include implementing Lean improvements, ensuring OSHA and ISO 9001 compliance, and partnering with Operations, Safety, HR, and Purchasing to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance and facilities management experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership supervising maintenance teams or skilled trades.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety practices.
• Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office apps.
• Strong knowledge of electrical controls, PLCs, hydraulics, pumps, and industrial equipment.
• Proven project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of facility systems, including electrical, HVAC, boilers, compressed air, hydraulics, and production equipment.
• Utilize CMMS to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, inventory, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Lead equipment installations, facility upgrades, and capital projects within budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Safety, and Operations to minimize disruptions.
• Drive Lean-based continuous improvement to boost productivity and safety.
• Support recruiting, training, coaching, and development of maintenance staff.
