Job summary

Gibraltar Industries’ D.S. Brown division seeks a Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor in Ohio to lead a maintenance team and oversee plant systems, utilities, and equipment.

You will implement preventive maintenance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll collaborate with Operations, Safety, HR, and Purchasing, manage budgets, and champion Lean initiatives to boost uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance and facilities management experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership experience supervising maintenance teams or skilled trades.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and reliability initiatives.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety practices.
• Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of electrical controls, PLCs, hydraulics, pumps, and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team for safe, efficient operations.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability.
• Oversee facility systems maintenance including electrical, HVAC, boilers, and production equipment.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders, schedules, inventory, and reporting.
• Ensure OSHA, environmental, and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Lead capital projects, manage budgets and timelines, and coordinate contractors.
• Collaborate with Production, Safety, and Operations to minimize downtime.
• Drive Lean-based continuous improvement and training of staff.
