Job summary

Electroswitch is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and improvement of our Weymouth manufacturing facility. This role blends long-term planning with hands-on support on the factory floor to keep operations safe, reliable, and productive.

You will oversee building infrastructure, preventive maintenance, contractors, and capital projects, collaborating with Operations and Engineering to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have facilities management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience developing or improving preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to manage contractors, vendors, and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Weymouth manufacturing facility.
• Oversee building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities, and related infrastructure.
• Support maintenance and reliability of manufacturing machinery and production equipment; conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Identify facility and equipment issues early and drive corrective actions.
• Manage capital projects from planning through completion and coordinate external contractors.
• Work with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and other departments to minimize downtime and support production requirements.
• Help establish priorities, budgets, and project schedules; maintain facility records and procedures.
• Support workplace safety, regulatory compliance, inspections, and EH&S initiatives.
• Provide leadership to facilities personnel and be hands-on when necessary.
