Job summary

Axiom Custom Products in Portland, OR is seeking a Head of Facilities to own all building, equipment, and shop operations. This hands-on leadership role requires proactive management of maintenance, safety, vendors, and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will lead a two-person team, drive preventive maintenance, and balance long-term planning with day-to-day problem solving to keep production moving safely.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to oversee building operations, safety, vendors, and fleets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily building operations, maintenance, repairs, utilities, security, access control, waste management and landlord relationship.
• Lead a two-person facilities team, manage projects, budgets, vendors, and documentation.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and local requirements, lead EHS efforts.
