Job summary

Astemo Ltd. seeks a senior Finance & Accounting leader for its manufacturing site to serve as the strategic partner to the Plant Head and leadership team. You will be responsible for the integrity of financial reporting, internal controls, and cash flow management.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, cost management, standard costing, and audits, ensuring IFRS compliance and successful business partnering across operations. Hybrid work is required.

Qualifications

• Strong IFRS knowledge and manufacturing accounting.
• Cost accounting, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and product profitability.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-support skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information to financial and operational leaders.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
• Advanced Excel, Power Query/Power Pivot, and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP implementations, process improvements, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Directs Finance & Accounting activities for the manufacturing site and acts as senior financial partner to Plant Head.
• Owns monthly close, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Leads budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; drives BPR and KPI reporting.
• Analyses profitability, cash flow, and operational performance; recommends corrective actions.
• Leads cost management, standard costing, and inventory valuation; monitors variances.
• Oversees audits, compliance with IFRS and corporate policies, and asset stewardship.
• Supports quotations, profitability reviews, and business-case development for new opportunities.
