Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Material Expeditor to manage shortages and ensure timely, cost-effective item fulfillment for assembly operations. You will interface with Engineering, Scheduling, Purchasing, Shop, and Manufacturing to keep production moving smoothly.

You will document shortages, coordinate delivery, and maintain scheduling in Oracle while processing ECOs and related orders. Join a role focused on metrics, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment.
• Ability to read and understand MRP reports, stock status reports and customer order shortage report.
• Knowledge in running queries on the Oracle database and proficient with Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and good communication abilities.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and multitasking capabilities.
• Attend training sessions and learn ISO policies, safety rules and vendor products.

Responsibilities

• Document and track current status of shortages for production line jobs.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Shop and Manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of shortages.
• Maintain accurate scheduling in Oracle throughout production.
• Process ECOs, Hold For Disposition, and lost part requests promptly.
• Close discrete jobs and ensure all material is issued.
• Collect data for Production Control Metrics.
• Attend weekly production meetings.
• Follow all safety rules on the shop floor.
