Nestlé Health Science is offering a Manufacturing Excellence Intern position for Jan 2027–Aug 2027. You will support continuous improvement, data analysis, dashboards, and cross-functional projects in a manufacturing setting.

The role focuses on reliability, quality, safety, cost, delivery, and productivity, with coaching from the team and opportunities to apply academic knowledge to real-world plant initiatives.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited bachelor’s program in Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing, Operations, Data Analytics, Business, or related field.
• Meet internship program eligibility and, if applicable, school requirements.
• Interest in manufacturing, continuous improvement, or digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis and maintenance of line and labor standards for products using studies and historical data.
• Perform loss analysis on Pivot tables in Excel and share results with teams.
• Assist with data collection, cleaning, visualization, and analysis to identify losses, trends, bottlenecks, and improvements.
• Support industrial performance studies related to machine speed, production cycles, and productivity.
• Help develop dashboards and scorecards using Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, or Excel.
• Learn and apply Nestlé Continuous Excellence, TPM, and Lean fundamentals with coaching.
• Document current-state processes, recommendations, actions, and results; create training materials as needed.
• Support digital/workflow improvements and assist shopfloor teams with digital tools usage.
