Job summary
HID Global in Austin, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Development Engineer to drive equipment strategy across manufacturing operations. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of manufacturing equipment engineering or related experience.
- Experience leading equipment projects from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Identify manufacturing equipment opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, throughput and cost.
- Lead capital equipment projects from concept through commissioning, validation and production release.
- Coordinate FAT/SAT, installation, startup and production qualification activities.
- Develop equipment specifications, URS, and procurement packages to support equipment strategy.
