Job summary
HID Global in Austin, TX seeks a Manufacturing Equipment Development Engineer to lead equipment strategies and lifecycle across global operations. Qualifications
- 7+ years of manufacturing equipment engineering experience.
- Experience leading equipment projects from concept through production.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with capital equipment procurement and supplier management.
- Lean/Six Sigma knowledge; PMP preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead capital equipment projects from concept to production release.
- Define equipment requirements and specifications.
- Evaluate technologies and suppliers; conduct RFQ/RFI.
- Coordinate FAT/SAT, installation, and production qualification.
- Develop maintenance and lifecycle plans.
