Job summary

HID Global Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Development Engineer in Austin, TX. You will lead equipment opportunities, work with Operations, Product Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to define requirements, and manage capital projects from concept through production release.

You will collaborate globally to deploy scalable equipment solutions, develop standards, and drive improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency across HID manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing equipment engineering, capital equipment implementation, automation engineering, or related technical experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading equipment projects from concept through production implementation.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment lifecycle from opportunity identification to production release.
• Collaborate with global teams to deploy equipment solutions across HID manufacturing operations.
• Develop equipment roadmaps and technology strategies to support current and future needs.
• Coordinate FAT/SAT, installation, and startup activities and ensure qualification and validation.
